Percy & Reed - I'm No Flake
Percy & Reed have expanded their range to address specific hair concerns, the first being a Shampoo formulated for sensitive scalps. Aware that this is a unisex problem and with a core range that depicts an illustrated girl on each product, Percy & Reed needed a new packaging concept for this collection that retained the elements core to the brand – illustration and colour to aid navigation- while it would not alienate a male consumer.
We illustrated a close crop of hair and placed it within a frame, using a clean blue shade that represents the product’s gentle, yet clinically proven efficacy. We then added a tab of colour and a feather icon as another nod to its sensitivity and as a way of differentiating it from future additions to the orange.
Vanessa Gounden
In collaboration with Raddleman, Sibling created a new identity for South African fashion brand Vanessa Gounden.
Vanessa wanted to refresh her look, making the identity luxury with a rebellious edge to reflect the statement that each of her collections seek to make. Her first UK store opened on London’s Conduit Street in May 2015.
Being by Sanctuary Spa
The team at PZ Cuzzons Beauty came to us with an exciting brief for a diffusion line of their multi award winning Sanctuary Spa range. The ambition was to create an Indulgent Bathing brand that was specifically targeted towards women aged 18-24 that was bursting with fun, fruitiness and attitude.
With the range featuring five unusual fragrance combinations, we developed a packaging design displaying faces and expression that would communicate the ingredients and the scent, whether slightly spicy and invigorating or cool and calming. Each fragrance includes a Bath Foam, Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Body Butter, Body Scrub, Hand Cream, Body Mist and Bath Bomb, all packaged in clear components to reveal the product within.
Being by Sanctuary Spa – Christmas
Following the launch of Being by Sanctuary Spa, we were asked to develop a concept for the brand’s first ever range of Christmas Gifts.
To help communicate each gift’s fragrance, we created a series if repeat patterns using the ingredient eyes from the characterful faces that appear on the core packaging to decorate gift boxes, bags and tins, along with a generous side of attitude with slogan drink cups. Like the core range, the gifts are fun, fresh and fruity. And just a little bit festive too!
Percy & Reed – Christmas 2017
We were briefed to developed a simple but premium gifting concept for Christmas 2017.
Using the Percy & Reed eggshell brand colour as a background, we developed a repeat pattern derived from the hand drawn lines that were introduced as navigation bands to help segment the range into Volume, Shine, Moisture and Style. We lifted these and added a festive sparkle, choosing a metallic to represent each of the segmentation categories.
Percy & Reed ‘hair’
Built on the names of two of London’s leading hair personalities, Paul Percival and Adam Reed, the first Percy & Reed salon opened in 2007. Since then the brand has attracted a loyal and high profile following.
Our brief was to develop a brand and range packaging that reflected British individuality, originality, lifestyle and personality. Introducing fashion led illustrations – styled and posed to communicate each product benefit – a playfully British tone of voice the Percy & Reed ‘hair’ range launched to an overwhelmingly positive response.
The Wellesley
Working in collaboration with Raddleman, we rolled out The Wellesley’s new brand across printed literature and stationary. Among the first few items to feature the new look are a simple auction brochure and a series of promotional materials and eNewsletters.
Tribeca Studios
Tribeca Studios is a pay per class group fitness studio based in Ealing. Sibling developed the brand identity and designed the interior, inspired by the Tribeca area in Lower Manhattan, where the pay per class group fitness model originated.
Percy & Reed Brand Identity
We were asked to refresh the Percy & Reed brand identity to bring the original Great Portland Street salon, the newly opened Spitalfields salon and the hugely successful product brand together.
Using neutral grey across all stationary, we carried the tone of voice developed during the design of their Fournier St salon across to their printed communications and introducing a colour for each salon. Yellow for East – to reflect the salon’s former life as a banana merchants – and green for Great Portland Street, influenced by Paul and Adam’s love of the British countryside and their range’s signature outdoor inspired fragrance, A Walk in the Rain.
We illustrated a close crop of hair and placed it within a frame, using a clean blue shade that represents the product’s gentle, yet clinically proven efficacy. We then added a tab of colour and a feather icon as another nod to its sensitivity and as a way of differentiating it from future additions to the orange.
Phamous Artists
Phamous are a talent agency representing some of the UK’s best hair stylists, photographers, make-up and nail artists. Established over 10 years ago, Phamous wanted to mark this milestone with a new identity and an impactful, fashion-led look and feel.
Sibling developed a typographic logotype, strong use of a single colour and simple grid structure to be used alongside the already beautiful imagery of their artists’ work.
2B Capital
Gaël de Boissard incorporated 2B Capital Ltd after more than 25 years in banking at JPMorgan and Credit Suisse. 2B Capital is a London investment firm, focused on investments in High Yielding Credit, particularly in the UK consumer finance and credit related Fintech.
Gaël wanted a contemporary, professional brand that reflected the highly experienced, yet boutique nature of his firm. We developed a simple wordmark, incorporating the 2B elements of the business name. What started as a C encircling the 2B evolved into a full circle, to create a neater, more uniform logo, which we combined with a navy and grey colour platte for a serious yet understated finance firm aesthetic.
Freedog Urban Activity Centre
Working alongside Raddleman, we created the identity for this exciting and exhilarating trampoline park which opened the first of its venues in July 2015. The Freedog team wanted the brand to be more than just a trampoline park. The idea of a complete escape and something for everyone at each of their venues, from parkour and freer and the slam dunk zone and dodgeball courts.
Crabtree & Evelyn Tea
As a brand with a rich history in crafted packaging, Crabtree & Evelyn hold an impressive archive of every design that has ever been created for them. We revisited this and set about creating a series of patterns that made use of the illustrations and designs in a way that made sense for the range and individual product.
Crabtree & Evelyn A Seasonal Spectacular
We worked in collaboration with Crabtree & Evelyn’s in-house Creative Team in developing the concept and designing their entire range of Personal Care, Home Fragrance and Fine Foods gifts for Christmas 2014. We then worked closely with the fabulous and immensely talented illustrators Thibaud Herem, Jonathan Burton Steven Noble and Laurindo Feliciano to bring the concept to life.
