Salon interior design
Having found a well loved Grade II listed building in London’s Spitalfields, Percy & Reed’s brief to Sibling was to create a salon space that reflected all of the character of the brand, while respecting the site’s heritage.
Percy & Reed wanted the salon to feel welcoming and unpretentious – somewhere clients would come and hang out, but also functional and a great place to work.
The result is a unique salon that reflects the brand and includes cheeky references to its previous life as a banana and tomato merchants throughout. We made subtle introductions everywhere, from the windows to the floor, that give a nod to its heritage – including repurposing Tomato Ketchup bottles as hand wash and lotion and finding, drawing and designing lots of nice things to decorate the salon and the walls of The Jimmy Choo.
